Software Developers are anxious and burning out over state of tech
Everything seems broken in the software development world right now. I’ve been thinking about this for a while, but it has been escalating very rapidly especially in the last few weeks, and I’m mostly dumping a chain of thoughts for my own personal diary. Is it just me feeling this? Every piece of software turned their attentions to only deploying AI functionalities, among tons of other things that need to be done, nobody is paying attention to the details, they resort to the first AI prompt for their questions as the “true source of knowledge”; devs talking about having their games and software cloned via decompilation, there’s a whole subset group of people who seems happy they can now just clone/steal other people’s work. ...
